    I have heard about Shelby's defense for the past three or four years...but what impressed me Friday night was their QB and receivers. QB has an arm and he is accurate with it. The receivers are track stars playing football in terms of speed...but dang, they can catch it, too. I thought Burns...

    Lincolnton is a great team. East Lincoln has one of the best coaching staffs in NC...but 2A football in NC, big or little, runs through Shelby.

    I was able to catch the game. CC ran a lot of misdirection stuff and made some plays. They have some athletes. Burns also made some big plays on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. The weather was definitely a factor at times for both squads. I saw some speed from Burns at times...
