    2021 realignment numbers have West Charlotte at 1577 and in 3A. AC Reynolds with 1296 in 4A, Alexander Central with 1432 in 4A and Watauga with 1462. Don't know where you got 1400 from as I pulled my numbers straight off the NCHSAA realignment data. Check your research.

    It is ridiculous that there is an 8A team playing a 5A team but that is the NC High School Association for you and the guidelines have changed so hopefully this won't continue to happen in the future. You play the bracket they give you.
