I actually really like Bilas. When he isn't talking about amateurism and the NCAA. He has completely gone down the rabbit hole on that one to the point where we might as well just get rid of high school and college athletics and just have development leagues start at 14 and remove these kids...

I have zero problems with a player taking less to go to a winning team....but when you are an all-star going to a team that was the favorite to win the title without you then you deserve very little credit and all of the criticism that goes along with it. That is the trade-off.
I won't argue about the off the court stuff because Self made quite a few veiled comments during the season about players playing for themselves instead of the team and they were obviously directed at him. But the rest...not so much.

He was coming off an ankle injury that had him sidelined for the better part of 2 and a half weeks. Although he has been known all year as a guy who might foul in order to get a breather.
That wasn't excessive at all. The refs are way more likely to call that on a home team that's winning though. Because otherwise it would look like they were picking on someone.
