Urban was a great coach, but a weasel of a man. He would have turned “success with honor” into “success with DISHONOR.”

Fly Eagles Fly!! Saw this guy on the Ohjo

I see eagles periodically flying over the Lehigh river. I was in Alaska a few years ago. There were places where Eagles were as prevalent as pigeons in the city.

    Michael Jackson The Verdict

There is absolutely no doubt that Michael Jackson was a pedophile. He was a very ****** up individual. Long story that I won’t bore you with, but I have a cousin in LA who introduced Jackson to one of his prepubescent victims who later received a $23 million settlement. Jackson was a great...

    Way off topic: Data Centers

I don’t argue that some sort of development is normal and necessary with proper regulation. What I do argue is location. I don’t want a data center across the street from me any more than I want a Waste Management facility or a nuclear power plant.

    Way off topic: Data Centers

I live about 3 miles from Parkland HS. Nobody wants a data center in our area. My concerns are noise, water consumption, energy consumption and real estate values. What misconceptions are you referencing?

Skydiver gets hung up on VA Tech Lane Stadium scoreboard

If no one got seriously hurt, then it's not a bad accident. More of an embarrassing accident. Potentially bad. I'm bored with this fascination with JF. I liked him and supported him when he was our coach. He was fired. I'm tired of the back and forth sniping. I wish him well except when we...

FC/OT: Virginia Tech president steps down…

Good point. A couple of decades ago, before satellite radio, I used to listen to Carton on WFAN in NYC. Back then, before jail, I thought he was a jack ***. Very pro sports oriented and anti college sports oriented.

FC/OT: Virginia Tech president steps down…

Is this the same Craig Carton who was sentenced to 42 months in jail for wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy?

'26 Hodge Trophy Finalists; Fan Vote Now Open

I was very happy to see Mendez lose in the finals and "disqualify" himself for the Hodge. Seems to me OSU and Mendez himself were appointing him the winner before all the matches were wrestled. Their arrogance was grating. If you talk the talk you better be sure you can walk the walk.

2026 NCAA Championship Session III Thread

Totally agree. If a wrestler doesn't have legitimate national title chances then he can't crack this line up.

    Hodge Race widens

If freshman of the year was voted before the Big Tens, I would think Blaze would have bested Davino since Blaze was undefeated and beat Davino head to head.

Kinda looks like where we are headed.

    Japan Travel Advice

Thanks for you input. We are only spending 4 days in Tokyo. We won't see the entire city, but that's okay. I think we have a full day private guide in Kyoto that includes a visit to Nara. We are staying in a ryokan over a natural hot springs in Hakone. We have a 6 hour cruise on lake Ashi...
