Yes he did but it was to accept a a job as a position coach. I consider it a promotion if you are moving to the NFL at an equal or greater position, not to go from head coach to position coach.
Not sure if you are trying too hard but usually going to coach in the NFL is considered a promotion; especially if you are coaching the same position or better.
The other thing this proposal completely ignores is what a down year in recruiting will do. So if a school loses a coach or has a down year with regards to recruiting and as a result finishes around 40-60 whereas they normally recruit top 25 classes the get investigated for going back to normal...
