I still think there's a talent divide but match ups can minimize the divide. Under Les, we've historically been a pro style O with a spread stopping D. Example was 2011. We demolished spreads like Oregon and WVA but our only loss came against Bama who ran over us, not around us.
It's right now, not all time or even last 10 years. See, Vandy and Virginia at the top and Stanford, USC, etc. way down the list. They have Florida ahead of just about everyone and they've only finished 2 twice but been to the CWS in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.
