    Its going to be difficult to keep the momentum going even after good seasons. That takes fan support and recruits. Rutgers needs a leader, someone who can sell the program. Might be too soon to label Ash a failure because he could still grow into that role.

    I dont think Moorhead has the necessary charisma to be a head coach at a major program. Now if he's offered $2-$3m to coach at Kansas or TTech, he would probably take it, but so would any OC who isnt being considered for the elite jobs.

    Theres a different standard of conduct when a coach or program is successful. Happens everywhere. Easy to fire a coach at a losing or .500 program for uncoming behavior.

    UConn joining the Big 12 would be suicide for that conference. Same with Cincy. This has to be some contingency plan for when Oklahoma and Texas leave.

    Thats because one school had a much better bargaining position than the other school. Rutgers has potential because of its recruiting grounds. It also depends what you mean by hole. Basketball can improve swiftly with a good recruit or two. ;'

    Schiano's been out of the loop for awhile. I dont see it as a game changer for Urban in NJ. The same thing was said when LJ was hired a few years ago. PSU has done pretty well head to head on DL recruits.

    Im thinking they fire Flood at the end of the year. If there weren't multiple player arrests they might fire him now, but the team needs stability at the moment. So they may clean house after the season. Then the issue is does Julie find a competent staff to replace them?

    She'll last, because roughly 10 years of Americans grew up watching her on tv every day. Thats part of what makes her so annoying. She wont go away.
