    The problem there is the ReliaQuest Bowl picks before the Las Vegas Bowl, if I remember correctly, and with the Pac 12 schools most likely heading to their former tie-ins, especially with the B10 having so many bowl-eligible teams this year, I think there isn't really anyone else the old Outback...

    There's actually a very good chance that game happens if Iowa State wins and we beat Nebraska. Iowa State was just in the goofy a** Pop Tarts Bowl, so I doubt they'd get picked over a few other teams ahead of them in the standings. They've also been to the Liberty Bowl several times recently...

    The programs that can't afford to be outspoken outliers/holdouts are more or less "forced" to support this. Iowa is one of those programs. Michigan and USC can get away with this. If Iowa joined them (or a Purdue or a Northwestern), they'd get scapegoated into oblivion.
