    Is it worth firing Beamer?

Two things.....I think it is a problem of players....many not being football smart, especially in the secondary. Secondly, we have to give the coaches some blame for their evaluation because football smart should be a part of it.

$.19 as a kid in Seneca

    A few Thoughts

What we perceived as our strengths appear to be our weakness. The DB's played poorly and the QB played poorly. At the same time Miss ST has an excellent QB and big VERY fast receivers........and we do not. Sellers is an awesome athlete, but we may need to do the old Allen Mitchell, Mike Hold...

Spencer Lanning featured for the 34 days until........

Very proud of Spencer. His dad and I were high school classmates at Seneca and also were at Carolina together. I played football with his uncle Rodney Lanning, who was our QB and then played at the Citadel. Spencer was a very good punter/kicker for us after Succop graduated.

Dose of reality from Phil Steele

Actually we don't know if it's a big question or a small question. Some of the fill in guys played very well last year.

Dose of reality from Phil Steele

Not necessarily. Nobody knows how the fill in players will perform yet, so it is nothing more than a guess.

Pretty good weekend for Gamecock Sports

I agree and the jury is still out on the baseball Cocks and maybe should be sequestered.
