Control the outside skill players and the center of gravity for the offense (Scroggins) and it should be a MV win; the JM OL is bad.
The Centerville Defense would destroy the JM Offense....as JM claims D1 receivers....Centerville DBs (like Turner) are D1 caliber. Not to mention JM does not have a player that can stop the Centerville FB--he crushed my team in the playoffs last year.
There is a world of difference from 3a to 6a football. JM could not compete with the likes of Centerville or (this year) Westfield. Depth is the critical factor.
Having coached against Centerville....JM could not compete with Centerville...not any 3a school could.
I would like to see a Ponax vs. JM game....I am absolutely certain Ponax would win without problem.
I would not classify Stafford as a quality win for they struggled against an extremely weak Stafford team. Lost to North Stafford and Courtland won and showed to be a superior team. But, winning in the second round of the playoffs is a quality win.
