I like that he has a Knight connection but he has another point guard background. Needed a big guy coach. Maybe the other open role will fill that need.
Just have to hold onto Knight until Bailey and hopefully Harper sign. Obviously you would ideally want him to leave for a head coaching gig (which he has probably earned). The more of our assistants that get interest the better the coaches that will be interested in replacing them.

I just don’t see if for Knight. Unless they like double his salary, (which would be absurd considering he’s already paid extremely well), he would really just make a lateral move that wouldn’t do much for his career And totally screwing over Pikiell while at it.
I doubt this is true and it just seems like a random Auburn fan but I thought I’d put this out there. Based on recent quotes Bailey seems locked in but I still can’t shake the feeling something with Knight is going on behind the scenes and Auburn would make sense. I say they both are solid but...
It seems like if we make a good offer Mcconnell would be extremely interested. If he’s not going to get a HC job, and has aspirations to be a HC soon, than what’s the difference of leaving RU or Princenton for one? If anything we’ll probably give him a pay raise for a year or two.
Along with the post offense I think a handle could go a long way to improving his game. Everyone says that he is the fastest player on the court but it’s not shown off because he doesn’t handle the ball in space. He could totally be a weapon for us in transition/beating other slower bigs to get...
But what I’m saying is it isn’t a coincidence that we’re always incredibly defended. And teams that are usually poor on defense like Michigan and Iowa have good defensive games against us. It isn’t as much them playing good defenses as it is us not having any offensive intelligence.
I can’t believe people on this board still think the main problem is that our players don’t make shots. Are we a good shooting team…no. We’ve never been under Pike. But this stretch of games we are out there on the court and look like we have never touched a basketball before. We don’t move off...
