Nope. Apologies to you, UNC80, as it was UNCH: “Chloe didn't even get a shot the entire 3rd quarter. Awful coaching.” I’m skeptical to put it mildly. What little I saw of that game was not so much a coaching problem as a keeper problem. But I still need to go back and watch the first 3/4. I’m...

Did you on the women’s thread call out Levy for bad coaching when Humphrey had a quiet stretch? I can’t recall for certain…, maybe someone else…

Huh, usually that’s a nice field, well groomed. Was the grass just not green or was it muddy or something tough to play on?

Stanford won 17-11. Notre Dame was better in the 2nd qtr (that’s when I tuned out), maybe had trouble with travel legs, but Stanford appeared the more gifted team as Roy would say.

Watched some ND-Stanford last night. ND has a very good keeper, 1 fast defender whom they put in a zone, and 1 short-stature player who had a good nose for the goal. Otherwise they were not impressive. Kinda slow footed. Soft ride, mostly falling back to set their zone. Ball was in the...

Dolce struggled a bit early on in that Clemson game. Three straight sticks side high to high goals early on. I wondered if there was something in that indoor arena that was hard for her, even if they probably have been practicing there thus far. BC is still Scrappy, but neither team was really...

Wow, topsy turvy year so far! Michigan for real probably but have not seen. Nor have I seen BC. Stanford looked good against Cuse at a glance; SU has 1 strong/confident shooter but didn’t look great offensively otherwise. They moved the ball well but little in the way of dodging/athleticism in...

2026 Women's Lacrosse Preview: Improving on Perfection

@TommyAshley Great interview guys! If you get another chance to speak with Coach Levy, please unpack the history of developing athletes into stars on the defensive end. There have been many in the program’s history I believe, and they have more successful than avg at doing so. Love to hear...

2026 Women's Lacrosse Preview: Improving on Perfection

Rams club has been working hard in recent years to hold endowments for non-rev. Separately, I believe the number of scholarships is way up now. I’m not sure how it’s all sustainable especially for men’s non-rev., cause the endowments aren’t THAT big I’m certain. Maybe others can share more...

So right about CH’s intensity and competitiveness. Always “on.”. CH’s conditioning also stands out also obviously, and for her teammates. I know you notice how hard she and teammates ride all the way to the line👏 I think there came a time in Coach Levy’s career when she decided her teams...

Defense: can’t wait to see how defenders develop with Coach Wood vs Coach Phil. I’m looking for a bigger role from one pr both of the two big-time Sr. defenders (both = 1st team AA IMO.). BWW’s sixes experience fascinates me, as does a full year+ under her belt since the knee injury. Again...

Possibly the best team in history, although I missed the old NU and UMD championship teams. And I’d put NC’s 2016 squad up to compete well with anyone also.
