Bluegrass State: Inbreeding Turned Kentucky Family Blue

In all accuracy...UK did win a National Championship in Football in 1951, beating Oklahoma. They also have 10 Team national Championships in all sports combines, not even counting the "sport" of cheerleading, which they have won (I believe) National champonships in 1985, 1987, 1988, 1992, 1995...

Are you REALLY banging on KY for being rednecks/hillbilly's? Good lord....Once you leave the very small eastern KY area (which is much like WV)...its a different Universe than WV. I've lived in WV now for 10yrs (Charleston) and grew up in KY and can tell you...it's night and day. WV's largest...
