    Job Openings?

Any updates on the schools still looking for a head coach to fill those vacancies? It is late in the off season to still have an opening. I am more interested to see who takes over the Depaul Prep head coaching vacancy. Any updates on who might be in the running for that?

    CPL

A lot of talk on Catholic league schools and suburban schools on here, lets switch it up a bit!. Any up and coming programs on the rise in the Chicago Public League? Any on the rise head coaches in the Chicago Public League as well? Besides the coaches and programs we already know about...

Greatest Team of the Last 10 Years…

Call me crazy, but I think that Phillips team that their second state title back in 2017 beats that Lincoln Way East team of that year. They played Loyola week one that year and beat them. LWE beat Loyola in the state finals, I think Phillips was the best team that year in the state of Illinois.

CPL Pick 'em Prep Bowl Playoff Edition Week 1!!!

I thought Bulls Prep was playing Morgan Park this weekend as well?

    Prep Bowl Update

So what happens if CPS has a uneven amount of teams next week for the CPS playoffs? Then what do they do? Cause the city championship has always been played a week before Thanksgiving.

    Interesting playoff bracket

I think Morgan Park can beat St. Francis as Kenwood was up by 10 points with about 6 minutes left in the game against them in week 1. But they'd have to play disciplined and be on their p's and q's. The thing that killed Morgan Park last year in the quarter final game against Morris was...

    Prep Bowl Teams?

There's already a City championship for the highest conference? Why make more city titles for the lower conference teams?

    Prep Bowl Teams?

That is how it was 15 years ago for CPS, I believe they stopped doing it after 2011 (correct me if I am wrong). Playing a game every 3-4 days is crazy and I do not think it is a good idea to go back to that. With that being said, I do not think lower conference teams should be allowed to play...

    Prep Bowl Teams?

There are simply too many schools in CPS that field a football team that should not. You have some schools with 16-20 players and you just can not compete and build a winning/competitive program like that. They should really look at combining teams and building up the league that way. Having...

    Prep Bowl Teams?

Does anyone know which catholic league teams are in it this year? I am not sure and have not heard any names. CPS is going to have an uneven amount of teams for their first round of CIty playoffs next week by just looking at the playoff brackets. Amundsen high school made the city playoffs...

    Prep Bowl Teams?

It is honestly a shame how much the Prep Bowl has lost its prestige. I think it is historic and should never go away as it was around before the Illinois state championship. The last time Loyola was in the Prep bowl was back in 2015 when they beat Curie (correct me if I am wrong but the score...

Week 9 Game of the Week

What does DLS have to do to get back to at least being competitive again in the CCL? Looking at their record two years ago, they were 4-6. They just revamped their athletic facilities and fields as well. I heard they are going to redo the standsa and scoreboard after this season as well.
