    Love Patino in the huddle again: down 25 with 8:06 to go he tells his team they just waisted the last 32 minutes of their lives and to try not to waist the next 8. They make him proud & only lose by 19.

    Patino has 12 new players stumbling around not playing together. Down to Santa Clara by 10, Patino tore into them at a timeout & they apparently folded. Now down 19 at home at the half. Kenpom ranks Santa Clara 98th.

    My hope for this season is that the rest of the B1G has to continually adjust for Ben McCollum’s system - with that comes more wins & a successful defense. Dare I say McCollum makes a statement in his first year.

    Starting Lineup? How about the next 5?

    While we all love us some Cooper, the intel coming out of fall practice is that Cooper is a little behind some others, especially on the defensive end. Jirak & Sage have exceeded expectations & are trying to get into the top 8 or 9. Banks is definitely competing for a starting position.
