    That’s not true. The Colonels folded because the city did not want to put up the franchise fee of $2 Million. JYB chose to fold the team. Simple as that. The Colonels attendance would have put them in the top 10 of the NBA.

    A kid guaranteed a first round pick almost has to go. One bad injury can ruin a potential financial windfall. Fans hate it, but would do the same thing.
