    West Suburban - Week 1

Hs has a decent chance to run table in their conference and end up 7-2. South has more talent than you might think with all the talent that graduated last year. A few key trasfers will also help.

The thread I always like to look back on: Your prediction on your team.

After taking a closer look i predict 6-3. New qb will is a big addition.

    Crete Monee Signing Day

Jevais is excited as well and will also be a great team mate. Looking forward to Saturday's spring game and the chance to meet his future team mates.

    Crete Monee Signing Day

Today, found out that Jevais Harris (HS) and Eric Valot (CM) will be room mates at USF this coming year. I suspect this will be a very good pairing for both. Funny how things tend to workout for the best.

For All Of You Jay Cutler Haters

Good point on the contract. Don't know much about jay off the field but, seems like a good family guy. I never liked jay's on-field demeanor (kinda poutie). However, given the current coaching staff, I suspect we will be OK at QB.

For All Of You Jay Cutler Haters

Jay has the physical tools of a top 5 QB. My issues with Jay were decision making, mechanics and $54M guaranteed (3 years ago). Probably somewhere in bottom 3rd of QB pack. Today, still has tools, improved decision making, still could improve on mechanics and today has no guaranteed money...

I doubt very seriously there will be anything negative that results. Just something these groups will have in common.

    Crete Monee Signing Day

Next year a few HS and CM kids will be team mates. Here are HS kids going to: St Francis: Jevais Harris (WR/CB) Carthage: Marcus Curry (RB), Jon Gorney (LB) Should be fun with some interesting reflections on last year's 6A final 4 game.

    CG 6 GW 21 Final

Surprise surprise, Pennington and Brodner duking it out in the snow.

    Snow!!!!!

Here in Darien (HS), we have 3-4 inches of slushy snow. If it stops snowing as predicted 2-3PM, the field should be fine by game time (6PM). I think the cold will be more of a factor.

    Loyola win 8a already?

The Palatine Coaching staff has gotten more out of less than anyone in the area. It would be foolish to think that Palatine cannot beat LA at this point of the playoffs. Furthermore, you still will have the WV - Marist winner to deal with in the finals. In football more than any other sport...

CSN: Saturday Live Semifinal broadcast details

I was hoping they would go with the "small market" 6A match-up of CM vs HS. However, many great games to choose from.
