    There’s 3 open roster spots. If McCollum gets a guard and a center he really likes, that leaves one spot remaining without needing to be in a rush to fill it. The roster would be in a pretty good position, and they can wait for Banks, another player, or just leave the last spot unfilled.

    The NCAA granted a one year waiver this past season for JUCO athletes who would have otherwise ran out of eligibility because of Pavia's legal challenge. It wasn't meant to give everyone who's attended a JUCO extra years which is why Banks' request seems like a long shot.

    I know guys like Pavia got an extra year of eligibility for this season, but are there any other guys like Banks who have been granted an extra year for next season? It seems like a long shot that he’ll get another year unless there are other examples.

    Yes, Stirtz always struck me as more of a scoring PG rather than a true distributor. In that case maybe it’s easier to find and plug in a combo guard who is primarily a shooter/scorer that can be paired with Combs. Which I guess means I’d lean more towards spending the money on a legit B1G...
