    Have to go with Shane Battier. Went from a role player his Fr. year to an absolute stud and the best player in the country his Sr. year.

    1st. Duke basketball player you remember.

    For me it was Jim Spanarkel. When I was young I enjoyed watching all of the ACC. But this team with Spanarkel, G-Man, Banks and Kenny Dennard was when I became a Duke fan.
