    Morehead 8 Southern Guilford 0. This is still a young team with no seniors but very talented.2 sophomores and a junior combined to throw 18 K's. Going to be an exciting team to watch.

    Rockingham County will be pretty good. 3 really good arms!!! They do lose some firepower in the lineup but they should get by with what they have. They are also in a better conference this year. Breaking in a new coach though so will have to how he does the first few weeks.

    First scrimmages are 2 weeks from Saturday. Cant wait to see some baseball. The best time of the year.

    Wrestling 1A Thru 8A, 2026 Dual Team Wrestling Bracket

    4a will begin to watch. UCA will be the favorite but Morehead looks strong too. I wish they would be on separate sides of the bracket but I believe both will go East!!!

    In the long run that set up will hurt them. Looking at schedules Morehead loaded it’s non conference up with good teams. In conference it will be a battle between Morehead, Rockingham and McMichael. Morehead also goes to the Myrtle Beach tournament in August.

    The new classification system is going to be different. Beefing up your non-conference schedule is going to help come playoff time since its all based RPI. And getting a 1st round bye can play huge dividends to some teams who may have 1-2 pitchers. You get that bye and it sets you up for success...
