    Pellet grill/smoker

Agree. I usually use the B&B pellets that you can pick up at Academy and they work well. They're cheap to begin with and you can frequently find them on sale.

    Pellet grill/smoker

I back off on the temperature as well at the start for pork shoulder and brisket. The RecTec bottoms out at 180. I usually do that for the first hour or so and then adjust up to my normal cooking temp. I've never felt like it wasn't getting enough smoke. If anything, I like the fact that the...

    Pellet grill/smoker

I have a RecTec and love it. My buddy has a Yoder and it's great as well. I used an old school stick burner for years and originally bought the pellet grill just for those times when I didn't feel like babysitting it or planned on a long cook overnight. I haven't used the stick burner in...

Any Jeep Wrangler owners on here?

I have 18s and 35s on mine. Probably a little bit cheaper for both tires and wheels with the 18s vs. 20s.

Any Jeep Wrangler owners on here?

Tirerack.com will give you ratings/comparisons for noise and ride quality. I've had Nitto's on mine for 13+ years (replaced them a couple times) and have been happy with them. Mine are trail tires and definitely not quiet but I think they have a couple other less aggressive models.

I pulled the trigger on Bitcoin. Anyone else invested?

I keep hearing the Bitcoin is capped argument for why it will continue to rise... and I somewhat agree, but what is there to stop another coin / alt currency from becoming as successful as Bitcoin has? Is it just barrier to entry or the fact that they were first to market?

    Thoughts on Reddit stock effects?

I can see why they would/should block any of these from being traded on margin but to restrict cash trades is a slippery slope. It's not the job of the broker to protect the investor from themselves.

    Thoughts on Reddit stock effects?

That's probably correct. You already see people on the Reddit thread talking about people being diverted to other stocks and telling them to stay in GME. Hopefully it changes short selling going forward. I wouldn't be upset if some of the Andrew Lefts and Bill Ackmans of the world were run...

    Thoughts on Reddit stock effects?

It's easy money until it's not. I manage investments for a living and have tried to figure out a way to profit on this craziness without it being a complete gamble. Haven't come up with anything yet. The implied volatility on some of these options is so high right now that the stock has to...

    Peloton

Have you tried Zwift? I'm not sure if it works without having some type of power meter but it definitely makes riding inside much more tolerable.

Let’s get some stock picks up in this pig

Snowflake's market cap is now bigger than their total addressable market. With as many solid competitors as they have it will be almost impossible for them to ever make their current stock price reasonable much less an increase in stock price. Doesn't mean the stock won't keep going up...

John Prine in Critical Condition with Covid-19

I saw him at Red Rocks in 2017. One of the best concerts I have been to. Every song seems to have a couple lines that just stop you in your tracks.

Wireless Router recs/info needed and appreciated.

I switched from a Netgear Nighthawk to an Orbi and speeds improved by 10 - 20x depending on where I am in my house.

Can I say no to the guy at Walmart that asks to see my receipt?

The price you pay for that convenience of using a self checkout is the inconvenience of having someone ask to see your receipt every once in a while. The amount of money they lost to theft through those self checkouts skyrocketed a few years ago when they got rid of the greeters and people...
