Why would AU bench Cam today???

This is totally up to the NCAA. They could make Cam prove a negative, or they could day there's no evidence Cam knew and walk away. The only evidence that makes Cam look guilty are e allegedphone conversations between Cam and two MSU recruiters. However, we know that evidence wasn't given to...

So originally Masoli was suspended for 2010 but since he got arrested while on suspension he Without looking it up, can you tell me the difference between a felony and a misdemeanor?

Rumors are swirling about Masoli being cleared...

First, just because he was accepted, doesn't mean he was enrolled. Second, I think it would set a horrible precedent to allow the NCAA to force someone to continue with a field of study. Third, they never said that was why they were not granting the waiver. Obviously they felt like that was...

How is what Sidney did any worse than Marcell Dareus?

The punishment is much worse. The NCAA is crooked as ****.

    Yo Sesh re: Paulus...

Look, we get it. Masoli wanted to transfer because he couldn't play at Oregon. There's no rule that prevented him from doing that. This waiver case by case argument is nonsense. What's th purpose of the rule if the committee can decide ad hoc who it applies to?

The NCAA got this 100% right

Did you read the decision? Did you read the rules? What part of the rule does the decision depend on? The NCAA admitted that he fulfilled the plain language requirements of the rule. The decision only states that he violated the "spirit" of the rule. All this ******** about him being kicked...

The NCAA got this 100% right

On a players status with the team. Also, answer the second part of my question. Why is Tig able to play on Saturday, but Masoli is not. How does that comport with the spirit of the rule?

The NCAA got this 100% right

That forces a person to sit out one year when they transfer to a BCS school and not for an FCS school? What Masoli did at Oregon is irrelevant. The rule is clear as to what factual considerations will be made. Which of those factual considerations does Masoli not meet?

So what will we know this time next week that we don't know now?

I don't disagree with your original comparison, but I just don't thunk Memphis is the same team this year as they have been in years past.
