Matt Campbell and the PSU Cyclones

He’s guaranteed 70 million dollars for his 8 year contract. And every year he’s still there he gets another $1MM bonus. And don’t forget that he’s already likely earned around $30-40MM in his career. As long as he utilizes good financial planners and lives a nice but not extravagant lifestyle...

Hey, last year it was Paige that was the savior of the league going into the draft as she was better than Clark. She came in as an older rookie, she’s 3 months older than CC, and has been good, almost great. But not really worthy of MVP consideration in either season. This year it was going to...

55 votes for Clark, out of 74 voters. So 19 people seriously thought the greatest season by a PG ever wasn’t worth top 5 in the MVP race. But Jessica Shepard, Jackie Young, Gabby Williams, Veronica Burton, Shakira Austin, Rhyne Howard, and Angel Reese were all top 5 in some people’s eyes. Next...

Agreed. She's basically the same player as KM with similar skills and deficiencies. Both 5'8" and shoot basically the same percentages from the floor throughout their careers. Plum has provided a shade more in assists and rebounds, but not enough that she'd be an upgrade. Maybe you could get her...

If Clark signs the EPIC extension, it locks her into the Fever through 2030 at the earliest. If she doesn't sign an extension, she plays 2027 on the team option at her rookie salary. Then they can Core Designate her for 2028 and again for 2029 at something like 20% of the salary cap. The EPIC...

You could just print that line on the header of the post-game report stationary ahead of time for almost every game and be accurate.

Jordan would have said the same thing about having two Detroit Piston Bad Boys on his roster back in 1990. And yet Rodman and Salley were teammates of his in 1996. But, as weird as Rodman was and was quite a bit of a headcase at times, he could usually pull it together when needed and hold a...

Chennedy’s skills would be perfect to pair at SG next to CC. But she’s a head case and that wouldn’t go well. Maybe someday she’ll mature enough and we’ll end up with a Rodman on the Bulls situation where the former Bad Boy partners with the guy he was beating up on. It is funny how some of...

    I like Moulton but he’s not a RB1

Jackson is the future and just needs to add some muscle but the kid has major speed for the position. Who would have thought a guy whose dad rushed for almost 6,000 yards in the NFL would be a good college back?

With the current CBA, a protected contract like Billings and Hull have is fully protected and also must remain whole. What that means is they either keep the players and pay them, cut the players and pay them, or find a trade partner that is willing to fully pay them. It does not allow cash...

Oh yeah, the Boston contract is stupidly overpaid and going to significantly hamper the Fever for the next several years. Almost every free agent center was overpaid this offseason and she got the biggest one of those contracts. You'd think the player with the largest contract in league history...

The problem with keeping KM is that the team still has the same deficiencies that killed them in the playoffs. Backcourt defense is very limited and you can’t afford to improve the front court depth. And I say that as a person that recognizes she has a lot of offensive game and seems like a good...

Reality hits like a ton of bricks

I’ve saved a lot of time over the past few years not force watching our games. I’ll watch when I’m available, but I’ve missed a lot of full or partial games for softball games or scout campouts with my kids the past several years. I know people that skip their kids’ events to go to games, and...

Did KF choose the wrong QB . . . again? Heck yes.

Yeah, they had their starting offense in the game to finish it off. The only way we were going to make that game close was by beating their defense quickly for some scores. I don’t think he’s dumb enough to have thrown many backups in on that drive that we scored on. They just went with less...
