OT: Tiger Woods involved in car accident

He was probably high when he won...does the Masters drug test?

Trending in the right direction with Stokes

I think Stokes prefers KU over UK because (mix of reasons).... 1. KU has more potential to pay him more because of the Darryn Peterson comparable (top 1-2 mock draft wing player) 2. Lawrence is a little closer thank Lexington 3. Self's system is proven to showcase him for the NBA. 4. Pope's...

Trending in the right direction with Stokes

What if this season, the Final Four consists of at least 3 teams like Iowa State or Virginia or Nebraska or Vanderbilt to join Duke/Mich/AZ (teams with $10+ million NIL budgets)? That would put downward pressure on the "wage" for these top line players like Peterson and Dybantsa and presumably...

Trending in the right direction with Stokes

KU is likely going to insist (I would) on Stokes playing a minimum number of minutes, attending all practices, putting in good faith effort to further KU basketball...things in response to Darryn Peterson behavior. And could be a new pay as you go model and add in some bonus clauses (win...

    what about Byington at Vanderbilt?

    Help me understand

really? You sure about that? Or are you the ****stirrer by either wanting Pope gone or wanting him to stay? I don't really care. I came in peace just wondering. My team, UNC...it's also got its ongoing coach debate. Until Hubert wins 2, he won't be good enough for many UNC fans.

nope...keep Pope. but go ahead and run him out of Lexington. Go find another "hot" name like Billy Gillespie. I was just wondering why there's so much complaining for Cal and Pope is the anti-Cal and he's actually doing well...rebuilding and refocusing UK fans to UK banners, not NBA success.

UConn just lost at home versus Creighton. One of the best coaches and fiery coaches in men's college basketball allowed his squad to lay an egg. It happens. I just think injuries hurt UK this season and Pope bleeds UK. It's okay by me if ya'll fire Pope after next season...I think he gets one...

    Help me understand

Doherty was a train wreck...treated people badly apparently. But two season is all he lasted. Pope is doing much much better in comparison. IIRC, UNC in doherty's 2nd season, didn't have as many injuries as Pope has in his at UK. Hubert...a lot of inconsistency. It's clear he's still learning...

calm down, dude. I'm trying to tell some of y'all that Pope is a good pick. give him time.

    Help me understand

I'm definitely not trying to stir the pot. If anyone wants to rewind the tape (aka look back at my posts from 2 years ago), I was posting that Calipari had to go because he sent the wrong signal to the proud UK fanbase about the "greatest day in UK basketball history"...no it has nothing to do...

    Help me understand

I assume you mean that it is a good approach (getting 1-2 star freshman to mix in with more experienced players and good portal players). The only deficiency you note is UK plays to the level of its competition. Duke (our common enemy) relies on 2-4 Five star players in freshman and sophomore...

    Help me understand

When UK beat AR at AR, I was convinced UK fans would fully jump on the Pope bandwagon. Additionally, Yes, it was the most recent loss that also spurred my question. My question was also spurred on due to Calipari getting another NBA quality guard in Jordan Smith and realizing Pope is not...

    Help me understand

Hey, Cats fans. I've been monitoring y'all's fortunes after Calipari. I see a lot of anti-Pope rhetoric. I've been here on Rupp Rafters before also saying Pope was the right hire after Calipari wore out his welcome and he grew fatigued at the criticism of not doing enough in the NCAAT despite...

It's looking really good for Acaden Lewis and Caleb Wilson to UK

That's common idea in UNC world but as MJ famously said, "Republicans buy sneakers, too.", similarly I will say on his behalf, "Kentucky Wildcats buy sneakers, too." OR "Duke Blue Devils buy sneakers, too." OR "Michigan Wolv...." you get the picture. If MJ was to assert his financial influence...
