    I think early playing time could be a big factor. At a blueblood he may have more competition for playing time than at Iowa. Rising program, coach players want to play for, development, and significant playing time will hopefully be an irresistible combination.

    I do wonder a bit if he had stayed with Iowa would he have been a positive impact? I don't know if he wanted to stay or, if BM wanted him to. That said, you can't teach 7' and there were games where we could not compete on the boards....

    Vonnhame has shown promise since he first hit the field and has only gotten better. I'm looking forward to having him be the next great TE at Iowa.

    Of course! Even Fran was great at evaluating talent and getting Iowa into the top 4 of recruits final selection. That was before NIL! Now, we will see with the BM era, if we can actually land some of these recruits. I'm very hopeful that we can! It will always be tough to beat out the blue...
