Iowa's D has gotten head out of *** lately and is shutting down the run. If Tommy is a pocket passer I love our chances. If Iowa plays like it did vs Michigan on D you will have a very hard time scoring points.
Works for me! I go to every Iowa/Nebraska game since the rivalry was renewed. Got a buddy in Des Moines here who is a Nebraska season ticket holder so got a seat in Lincoln and then we buy 2 in Iowa City every year. Great games so far each year really besides the 7-6 or whatever it was Hurricane...
You do, we just have to bring it up as all we hear about is the past, Iowa has a past as well and 20 years of worse than Iowa St losing that hurts the overall prestige still.
Playoffs are a MUST in this sport as you can see all of the back and forth over what poll is what who claims what, etc. Iowa 20 seconds away from final 4 last year, not too bad.
Iowa was undefeated in 1921 and 1922 and has a claim to the 1921 title as well, should that not count since all they did was not lose for 2 years straight?
