    I think the extra bids should come from the mid majors, that had a really good season. For example, Belmont from the Missouri Valley. They went 26-6 and won the regular season title by 3 games and choked in the conference tourney. Indiana who went 18-14 with a losing record in the B1G didn't...

    I may be off a bit in the details, but back in 95, stud incoming Fr. LB, Vernon Rollins was held up by the NCAA Clearinghouse and it took a few games for them to finally say he's good to play. That's my first memory of the NCAA jerking Iowa around.

    I was thinking that too, but figured I may be wrong, with how skinny he was. He also wasn't a leader like Winters or a wide body like Hill was.

    It seems to me the fastest way the previous players received an answer concerning an extra year, is by hiring a lawyer. The lawyers seem to make everything public and the NCAA gives in.
