    This Iowa team will be a lot better than last year. That being said I think the BIG will be tough with USC at the top. Jan and company surprised me with the quality additions. The only spot I am a little concerned with is at the 4.

    If Howard takes a big leap to 14-15 points a game, 1-2 rebounds a game and a steal or two we are in good shape. He needs to play consistent defense and not take plays off as well.

    You know what’s interesting is just how irrelevant the SEC is without cheating. It’s a glorious thing to behold. That being said I am sure they will come up with something new. That’s what cheaters do.

    Lack of leadership at any level in the NCCA. Unless you make a phone call a few hours before you’re supposed to and you are mid-level program then they slam their good for nothing book at you.

    Hank Brown is a poor man’s Nathan Stanley. He’s a statue in the pocket. If I am the opposing defense all you do is stack the box and blitz.
