    And Jan is right. Deal is still not reliable at crunch time or in tight games. Rodriguez isn't either. But they'll get there. They need some time and patience to develop. But today, just like Jan, almost nobody would trust them in the game's decisive moments.

    Before today's game McCabe was 11/30 - 3pt (35%). Chit Chat was 12/20 (63%). Streamlow 6/13 (34%). Deal 4/16 (24%). Feuerbach 3/11 (22%). Our best 3PT shooter is Chit Chat (she's our best player too). She wasn't on the court and we won. She'll be back soon and we'll be better than tonight.

    Winning two games against P4 teams even while not playing well is certainly positive. We could have played poorly and come away with two losses. We played poorly and came away with two wins. It's an incentive to keep improving, and there's a lot really a whole lot still to improve.

    Sometimes this girls look like a high school team. The game was already won and they nearly fell asleep on the court and let Miami back into the game. They're way too soft.

    I don't know what the relationship is like right now, but over the last two years Iowa hasn't signed with the biggest AIA stars, so there's definitely room for improvement.

    The PG Gal Raviv who was supposedly a Iowa target in the Portal led Miami with 22 pts in the last game and leads the team in assists at 4.5 APG. I'd really love to see a Chit Chat x Raviv matchup, but that'll have to wait for next time. Tonight we'll have Stremlow x Raviv and Deal x Raviv. Go Hawks.

    Ava was great, but she did what was expected of her. Iowa won the game largely because of Stremlow (MOP of the game). Stremlow was brilliant.
