    You're gonna find out a lot more about what you need to work on to make the best of the season vs those types than the Marathon Oil's of the world. What's better? Beating a tiny D2 Iowa school by 50+ in a scrimmage and then losing to a really good team by 25+ when the games count - or losing...

    What a feeling knowing that being on these types of kids' lists isn't anything other than a nice 'pipe dream' to imagine them coming to Iowa anymore. "Future's so bright, I gotta wear shades."

    I could end up being dead wrong, but I think the loss of BS is being way overblown by both the national pundits and some Iowa fans. Ben McCollum was putting up an absurd winning % just as much without Bennett Stirtz on his rosters as he was with him as the PG. The experience will be missed...

    Since these are just basically scrimmages, play the best of the best. See where you're at, heading into the season. Duke, Arizona, Kansas (for a 'regional matchup'), UConn, etc.
