Official Penn State vs Ohio State game thread…

I for one will be glad when Clifford graduates. He is a fighter and works hard but is not a high end quarterback. He doesn’t have what it takes to be a winner against top flight competitors. Why Franklin is so loyal to the point of being stubborn is beyond me.

I want to see how these freshmen play against Michigan State. What is there to lose at this point? Get them some experience in a tough environment.

Caedan Wallace makes every defensive end look like all conference. Give someone else a chance Franklin.

I get it that every player on the team won’t make All Conference but you CANNOT have players like Caeden Wallace that simply are over matched in the B1G

    Offensive line question.

I didn’t know that Trautwein was recruiting strength and toughness over athleticism. In general, I understand in today’s cfb that you need length and athleticism in most positions. Where imho it matters less is at defensive tackle and offensive line. I would rather have players that can’t...

    Offensive line question.

What I find frustrating is that teams like Wisconsin and Iowa manage to make 3 star players into all conference on a regular basis at the offensive line position. I get it that we can’t recruit with Alabama et al but we should be able to match Iowa, right?

    Offensive line question.

I appreciate the insightful comments. I can see where joining the B1G made a difference. Is our recruiting at that position sub par? Do we not recruit for toughness? Do we not develop the players well? At many other positions we do fine but the offensive lines just always seem like a...

    Offensive line question.

Greetings. This is my first time posting and I never played football so I have limited knowledge. Having said that, I remember the offensive lines in the 80’s and 90’s being more physically dominant. Most of the time they could convert third down plays with 2 yards or less by running the...
