    UCLA Clock Management

I was a bit surprised they didn't try the onside kick after their last TD. They hadn't really stopped our run game all night. I guess there was plenty of time if they had gotten a 3 and out but it didn't seem likely.

    Need advice

On Friday night there is a tradition of the pep band marching through a restaurant in the Havelock area called Misty's. It's a pretty old school restaurant with decent (not great) steaks and prime rib. The restaurant itself has a cool old school steakhouse vibe. Otherwise, I'd agree with those...

    OT: favorite regional food

Maryland crab cakes are great. Can't remember the name of the restaurant but it was some basic diner. Chicago hotdog from Portillo's is fantastic and I really don't even like mustard that much. Lobster roll from Luke's Lobsters in Portland Maine was very good but not worth the price imo. Sonoran...

    In State Bball talent

You guys remember Mike McGee? He was a handful of years before that 82 class, maybe 77 or so. Went to Michigan and then went on to play for the Lakers. I was too young to really remember much about his actual play but I think he was probably the most highly regarded guy to come out of Omaha.

At this point, who you pulling for ?

I won't say I like OSU but I dislike them much less than the other 3. Top 4 reasons below. 1. They were sort of with us during the covid year and didn't talk **** about kicking us out of the conference because we dared say we wanted to play football. 2. I spent a fair amount of time in Ohio...

    OT-BBQ grills?

If you told me I could only have one grill/cooker I’d go with the Weber Kettle. I also have the RT Bullseye 380 but I like it less because at the lower temps the smoke is thick and dirty and I would prefer direct cooking at the higher temps. Its ok above 250 or so, but I find myself rarely using...

The College Football Playoff needs to expand

I have always thought 8 was the right amount of teams. Either that or 16 because teams having a bye while the other team plays a top caliber opponent is an unfair advantage. The reason I think 8 is better than 16 is because realistically, there aren't 16 teams with a chance to win in it all...

    Cignetti

I have never before and probably never will again, cheered for ND but I did this game. I didn't like Indiana before this asshat came aboard.

For all the flack Buscini has taken

I’m happy to eat some crow when it comes to BB. i thought he was wildly inconsistent and referred to him as Shankapotomous but he has really been excellent most of the season and has bailed us out with some tremendous kicks.

Anyone not pulling for Indiana today?

I can't stand IU because I just have a natural disdain for cocky people and "Google me" is definitely an arrogant *******. Maybe Day is too but for some reason I can tolerate him a little better.

    Thanksgiving sides

The best is .mashed potatoes and gravy when you mix your corn in with it. Then stuffing with gravy. Then anything else with gravy.

    Wisconsin prediction thread

Listening to 93.7 this week, Bill Busch seemed very confident in NU. He knows football better than anyone on this board so while I'm as beat down and despondent about our program as anyone, that gave me some hope.

    All whites

Edited to add that I’m not really in favor of either. I alike the white top, red pants look

    All whites

If we are going for the clean look, I wish we would go all the way and get rid of the stripes both on the pants and jerseys

I know this sounds like a conspiracy theory, but...

I’m not really defending the current refs because many of them suck, but for those of you saying it’s worse than it’s ever been- no it’s not. There have always been unbelievably ****** calls that have changed the outcome. Just 2 name a few NU related. 1. Penn State catch out of bounds probably...
