    I made the voyage to Bluefield for this game. I thought difference in game was Graham had good pass rush on Glenvar in 2nd half. He had very little time to throw.

    I recall a good basketball player who played 4 years in the VHSL, at 4 different schools. Every transfer was for athletic purposes.

    Turner Ashby at LCA

    I went to 1 game at LCA's stadium last year. Haven't been back. PA system operator thinks it's a concert instead of a football game. They play music very loud after every play. And on every dead ball, timeout, or any other stoppage of play. Very bad atmosphere for a high school game.

    They are not a recruited team. LCA is a good school and parents send their kids there. If I had a school age kid, that's where he/she would go.

    I wish VHSL would change playoff format. Go back to format used in 2011. Current format results in too many rematches in playoffs from regular season, and playing mostly the same teams in playoffs every season. As for Gretna vs Glenvar, it will be a battle of the 2 best QBs in Class 2...

    LCA will not be as strong next season. No need for coaches to bolt from Class 3.
