    As a business owner in one of these communities, I can definitely predict our property taxes to double or triple. If our private school closes, those children are added to the cost/per student to educate. Plus, in my opinion, having a choice of schools attracts young couples back to our community.

    Not surprising that the small players dont receive recognition. The Omaha/Lincoln Bias is getting old. The system is flawed. Plus the fact that the Omaha and Lincoln writers probably only watch a few games of C2, D1, and D2 doesn't say much about how they recognize players.

    Wow....did BDS have anybody hurt in yesterdays final? That was not the same team that just beat Heartland and GACC in the last 2 games. Hemingford played extremely well and you could see the power game overwhelmed BDS. GACC's two running backs ran all over them too, just couldn't get stops on...

    Class D-2 imbalance

    I would love to see something like this in D1 and D2.....District champs get a first round bye.....then line up the rest. Puts a little more emphasis on the district actually mattering. Or if you win districts you get an extra 1/2 point added to your power points. ? Just some thoughts.
