    I think it is time to move on from Sheppard. He has now been the head coach for 21 or 22 seasons, and he has had a losing season in 4 of last 5 years. We have not been consistently good since the end of the old BE/start of new BE which was a run from 2011-2014. Haven't been to NCAA tourney...

    I assume he meant Marshall, but I do not believe he was coach yet for Wichita St when they smoked us in 2006 NCAA tourney.

    Tried to hire him 15 years ago to replace Gonzo, accusation just coming out, if we had hired him pretty sure would have been long gone by now, so not sure what we dodged.

    College basketball is sleazy, probably it is a recruiting opportunity for Bama to come to NJ/NY area, why would we care? Would you rather they play someone else at MSG/Barclays or the Rock and we play FDU? People just find anything to complain about, we honestly need another one of these type...

    The world of college baseball changed a while ago, teams in the northern part of the US just can no longer compete with the teams in the south. Now that doesn't excuse our poor performances recently in a weak BE baseball conference.
