    We got swept, but legit could have won every game. Baseball voters in general seem to take a much more measured approach and don’t seem to let one weekend swing things too much.

    Listen, I’m not a huge fan of Trump. I also think this war is beyond a bad idea I can also separate that from the fact that I am overjoyed this guy has been rescued and it is something worth talking about. Just keep the freaking politics out of it for God’s sake.

    I’m not outraged about any of it. I think most people don’t give a crap about the opinion of a way below average basketball player. the optics of Colbert were not good. Three days after he makes a very negative statement about Trump and paramount he is fired. Maybe he was fired for ratings...

    That wasn’t the league’s decision. It was the state of New York. He would have been allowed to play if he wasn’t in Brooklyn, but The Nets decided the whole thing was a distraction and told him that he couldn’t be a part time player so he didn’t play at all.

    He was suspended “indefinitely” and I think had to call the owner of the Nets to apologize. Think it lasted 4 or 5 games.

    If you are a nonproductive bench player in the NBA it’s probably best not to make potentially controversial statements. LeBron? Durant? Tatum? The Joker? SGA? They are going to get a lot more leeway. same way I used to listen to a lot of ******** from a girl if she had a nice rack.
