    this year. If he's not going to be able to win us games this year, let him redshirt. We may need him down the line. The biggest problem is defense right now. Relf and Lee can scrap us through this year. Bring in Cam Newton next year (fingers crossed) and let him be the man for two seasons...

    If the program was in a better situation, I would probably prefer we play a better team, but right now? Just get the W.

    I'm extremely disappointed

    Not one of our best, but still a good back who has done a good job for us over the years. I don't think he's overrated. Despite the fact that he'll probably be leading most of our rushing records by the end of this year, no one really seems to consider him a top MSU back. And that's about right...

    But I wouldn't pick us to win any single game on our schedule. I figure we'll put it all together at some point though. 2-10. And yeah, I agree that being "due" won't help you any. We're "due" against LSU every year and that doesn't change a thing.

    but the attack on the fans was even more in tents. Can't remember the last time I saw a rampaging player dragged off the field by cops, security, a coach, and players. That easily made up for a stupendously crappy game. Best fight in college football I've seen in a long time.

    for his club's pre-season in an effort to get some playing time next season, so that's it for him. I didn't realize he only had these two games to impress, but I'd have to say he didn't do anything to help his standing with the national team. He wasn't bad by any means, but he didn't stand out...

    Besides, if UM was Atlanta-bound, they'd have at least a decent ranking on them anyway. Dashing UM's dreams would be as sweet as knocking off #1 and keeping the streak alive.
