    It was ridiculous. The amount of people desperate to get a jump on the parking lot line is pathetic. There was a nearly nonstop stream coming down the stairs over the last 3-4 minutes

    No, you're absolutely right. I should have phrased it better. I meant that there is always a question as to whether I actually want a regular pizza with half covered in pepperoni. I've had 3 places seem baffled by the request of a "large pie with half pepperoni"

    This gets me EVERY TIME I order pizza here in CT. It's too ingrained in me to order differently, but that is the only way not to receive a battery of follow up questions/clarifications. Also, a large pie, half pepperoni is translated into "one large cheese pizza, with pepperoni on only half"...

    My last few years in Clinton we had none at all, but it seems to be alive and well up in Cheshire CT. I took my daughter out with a horde of her friends and their parents. There were many other roving groups and many homeowners who clearly went to great effort to decorate for the night...

    This thread has been interesting. Not only do I tip the gas attendant, I truly don't think I have ever been a passenger (of a NJ driver) in a car where the driver didn't tip at a gas station.

    OT - Route Guidance to Hilton Head

    Leaving on a Sunday morning you should be fine with 95 all the way down, but with that said, I take 78-81-77 every time we go. It's a little longer but I find it to be a MUCH more pleasant drive.

    Sitting on the beach in Hilton Head as I type this. We come down every year and usually try to squeeze in a side trip to either Charleston or Savannah. I'd recommend Charleston for more to do, but would definitely hit Savannah as well. Agree with the earlier suggestion to do a historic carriage...
