Teutopolis and St. Anthony are some of the best known 1A & 2A basketball programs in Illinois. I think their continued success in basketball and baseball is more than enough reason to go on without football.
Teutopolis could probably get by with their enrollment, but St. Anthony is a bit small...
I just see it as Alleman has an enrollment more similar to Newman Central Catholic than it does to Quincy and Moline.
I understand the history being a founder of the WB6, but being a doormat in athletics won't keep your doors open.
If I am the AD/Administration at Alleman I'm looking to get us in the Three Rivers Conference asap. The WB6 is just far too large for them today as their numbers will only continue to dwindle.
Is it fair to compare Evanston to OPRF?
Similar mix of socioeconomic backgrounds with their student body, but also a large private school in their backyard.
Assume the Kits have talent roaming the halls.
