    Is the acclimatization rule not cut and dry? Do we change the punishment when more teams get caught? I don't know how you can change a punishment for a rule when you set the precedent with Cedar. I guess it is what is.

    I would suspend the coach for a game - make the punishment mean something. I would not punish the players in this situation.

    I respect your opinion. In my opinion, I don't feel that teams will see that punishment and stop them from doing what Cedar did. How does the NSAA monitor that they lose practice time? Cedar submits a plan to the state - who says they follow that?

    Agreed! And the punishment just shows that NSAA doesn’t want to get involved and pretty much allows schools to do whatever they want.

    Softball 2026 NSAA Softball Classifications (Updated 8/3)

    I believe the reason for that is because Lincoln Standing Bear opted up to A. When a team opts up after the classifications come out, they don't realign teams as far as splitting them evenly in B and C. I could be wrong though.

    It's actually only 358 to center and 335 down the lines. The district did get moved to Papillion and 1 of them was hit there. Still wild that there were 8 grand slams and 20 homeruns in that tournament.

    Very good - do you know of any communication between the NSAA and teams regarding pitch counts of each game? Teams should not have to go to the NSAA website to find their "official" pitch counts for the game. IMO

    The whole problem to this situation is the lack of communication there has been with pitch counts for each team after the game by the NSAA. The stats the NSAA are using on GameChanger are not being made public, so it seems as if teams are going off their own GameChanger stats. This is a fiasco...
