We beat Alabama if we do this...

True, Mullen couldn't score at all against them. Protect KT and he'll make some plays. Our receivers will get open. It's really up to the OL for our offense. DL is serviceable and more reliable, just need some QB pressure. We'll have a really good chance if the offense can put up 30...

We beat Alabama if we do this...

0 offensive turnovers, 2 defensive turnovers, minimal penalties, no key injuries, & the offense scoring 35 or more points.

    Yet aGain, Mississippi is 50th

I did, I automatically assumed it meant MS was the worst. Jumped the gun.

    OT: Tennessee botches an execution

Unbelievable. How do you mess this up? Embarrassing for the State of TN. They've only had 30 years to prepare for that. Crazy story.

    Yet aGain, Mississippi is 50th

I just think people do it on purpose now. No way MS is the "rudest state". It's not possible.

If we are playing in the rain on Saturday

Agree, it's a good shot to beat them, and we need to. Beating Bama in football is a big deal for any program, let's make it happen.

Where do you rank this catch in MSU history?

This one is a freak play, but so is Ant's catch. 2 great plays. Moulds is our best receiver all time, hands down.

I am just grateful we are 4-0. Who knows how October will turn out. I would have taken 1-3 before the season started, but expected 0-4. Now we may have a chance to get 1 game and if the stars align, maybe 2. Enjoy the ride.

    Alabama is beatable

They absolutely could boat race us, they are way more talented. If they play great and we are flat......it can get ugly. We're also good enough to pull the upset. I do expect us to play well and make it a close game though. Hoping for no injuries and a well played game by the good guys.

Will SEC officiating allow us to beat an undefeated Bama?....

We'll have to win convincingly to remove any chance of a phantom call. a 10 point win would be glorious. If it's a 3 point game down the stretch you know Bama will get all the calls and chances to win

    Predict the next 4...

Maybe 1-3, but could easily be 0-4. These teams are very good and have much more talent and depth than us. I hope we can make it out of October with our best players healthy. We are so thin. If we can beat OU and steal another that would be incredible.

    Alabama is beatable

It will take our A game with no injuries, minimal penalties and zero turnovers. It's possible.

Soccer Dogs pick up a big point in the road

For a total rebuild, I like what they're doing. It may catch up with them as the year goes on, but I like the new coach and think he will be successful here over time.

I wish we had this schedule

But the BIG10 conference is a better conference? Yeah, no way. Being a "blue blood" football program and not playing a top 10 team all year is a joke. Washington, USC and Michigan are great programs having down years, but the rest of the teams are just average to bad.

    Eddie Kelly cleared to play

He is much needed help in games giving the starters a breather. Any in game snaps he can play is a relief for us due to injuries. Hopefully he can be somewhat effective and play some quality snaps. Good last minute grab by the staff.
