    It was some Tuscola students, maybe ball players, that were down the left field line yelling obscenities. The cops moved them to another section of the field. I didn’t hear anything personally but it held the game up for 5 minutes getting things settled down.

    Yes, your starter did a good job of not losing his composure early. Good team, played with class. We needed to string a few more hits together throughout the game and just didn’t. Hate it for our boys, there were some good leaders that played their last high school game.

    How does Hickory look? West Henderson is playing their best ball of the year right now and seem to have made some positional changes that galvanized their group. Franklin’s a decent group just short on pitching.

    Also, during this same session it DID NOT pass by a 7-10 vote to take 1a-7a playoffs from a field size of 48 down to 32. I would have been in favor of 32 for several reasons. Not to highjack but it came out of the same meeting.
