    Well said. Kansas and coach Allen can not help that there was no NCAA tournament when they won national championships. College basketball existed for nearly half a century before it.

    This is a good point. It was good enough for those awesome classes Cal was able to reel in but they have fallen off. Has Duke surpassed everyone in facilities and infrastructure? Self is always pushing hard for upgrades at Kansas. His hard work does seem to be paying off.

    Not really. He isn't a big time name but he has a solid reputation among coaches. I think this was a great hire.
