    Yes, I agree, but really outside of protected rivals that we play every year, we should play all 12 other teams (home and away) in a 4 year window, correct? Hopefully they would be spread out evenly.

    IF the BIG goal is to Maximize playoffs spots, it shouldn't have too difficult of permanent matchups. I guarantee the SEC will not stick Alabama with OU or Texas permanently.

    I am guessing Iowa would be a protected rival. I think we have a decent history with UCLA. I don't think the only pool they would have for Nebraska is UCLA, USC, OSU, Mich, and PSU for the 2 other games, only 3 games total. That would be a waste of marquee matchups for other BIG schools, IMO.

    I would be surprised if the stuck OSU with Mich, PSU, and USC or UCLA permanently. I know OSU can handle it, but that would be too hard. I would guess Mich, USC/UCLA and someone else. For Nebraska, I am guessing Iowa, UCLA and either Wisconsin or Minn.

    I haven't looked at Pursue Schedule but Nebraska Colorado, Cinncy, Tenn., Oklahoma and Arizona lined up in the next few years.

    I thought what Purdy did against Illinois warranted a very short lease for the Minn game. Hell, Smothers should have started. The ONLY reason is Whipple.

    Agree to disagree I guess. OSU is WAY above anyone else in the East. The fact that we played them 5 more times then Iowa has put us at a competitive disadvantage for the division. Every year is different, except for OSU.

    I get it, but even this out a little. Since Nebraska has been in the BIG, they have played OSU 8 times. For reference Iowa has played then 3 times. Minnesota 4, Wisconsin 5 (not counting conference championship). Illinois hasn't played OSU since 2017.
