    Men's fencing was a hybrid called "Varsity Club" before Title 9. We got varsity letters and were given the same abilities as all other varsity athletes as regards getting out of class for scheduled sporting events. Back in that time period, those abilities to get out of class were very limited.

    If we were going to grab a DC from the USFL, I would look at the one from Pittsburg, Jarren Horton. He put together a monster defense and was a great defensive play caller. And he is young.

    Had this happened two years ago, Fitz probably would have sat out a season and then been hired at a pretty good FBS HC job. But after a terrible season followed by a horrific season and then this, he will probably have to wait longer and take a bigger step down and try to work his way back up...
