    You can't really make a coaching decision based on possibly losing them down the road. If you are worried about that, you end up making decisions like UNC just made... hiring "Coaching to the Oldies".

    In a perfect world, I would agree. In the current state of program toxicity, it's likely that the folks reaching out are as I mentioned: on their way out of their current gig, washed up or looking to get a raise at their current place. UL isn't a destination gig like we would all like to imagine.

    Day will be able to walk into a room and focus on the vision that he is selling from a football standpoint bc of his background and time at OSU. Satterfield will have to sell himself along with the football stuff bc he isn't a known entity to these recruits which means he will have a tougher time.
