    Don't want anything I have to take care of or find someone to take of it if I decide to go out of town. Like not restrictions to just pick up and go.

    Not too excited on the hire. Think 2 years as hc is not enough time to prove he is capable. I guess will find it out like all the other men's programs. Wait and see. In the church we elect deacons and elders that are not young and have proven themselves before installin then in office.

    Don't know if Schnall was the number 1 canidate or not, but it would appear if he was we would already have a coach.

    May be wrong but I would rather take a chance on a coach that has been the head coach for numerous years and won consistently at his level (even if it is D II) and a national championship over a two year coach or some assistant at another program. Just my humble opinion.

    2022 was the last Christmas our 45 year old son celebrated with the family He passed away in October 2023 of cancer. We still rejoice and celebrate as a family, however, there is an emptiness in our hearts as parents.

    Think I would prefer the 16 best teams and doing away with league championship games, thus no byes. That way the two teams in the final would have played the exact same number of games to be there.

    Beamer on the hot seat?

    I don't think his seat is even warm. With a whole new offensive staff it is almost like a new start. He'll be given time to have players in place to play in Briles system. Do expect to see better results next year, just not the playoffs.

    I wonder if he even looked at next year's schedule. I'm sure that all those teams will not just collapse. I'd rather we went with a new coach and go 4-8 instead of staying with Beamer and going 4-8 if we're lucky.

    All those calls when we only need 1 or 2 yards for a 1st down was horrible. Not sure the interim oc is the answer.
