    Was my first childhood Hero in UK Basketball. He devoted his life to God, passing up the NBA. When his wife passed away during the off-season, his teammtes dedicated the 1957-58 season to her and guess what? The Wildcats won their 4th NCAA Championship. RIP, ED!

    What year did you become a UK fan, & who was your 1st favorite UK player?

    1957-58 UK Fiddlin Five won the NCAA Championship. My favorite player was Johnny Cox. My best friend was a Notre Dame fan and I went to his house to listen to the UK-Notre Dame regional final and UK won by 89-56. I still get goose bumps over that one.
