With all due respect, Frost's offense won't work with a "bunch of local guys." No matter how hard they work. You are going to need to find at least a few players with crazy speed from other states, particularly Florida, Texas, and California.
This is a great description. Watch when they play Auburn in the Peach Bowl. UCF has not played anyone that has a front four defense like Auburn. Auburn can stop the normal UCF run with 5 in the box. That will force UCF out of its normal game plan. They will be forced to throw when they don't...
There is a lot of "horizontal" in the offense which stretches the defense from sideline to sidelines. The QB counts the players in the box and decides to give, keep and run, or keep and pass. He also reads the safeties. If he gets a single high he looks to keep and go deep instead of horizontal.
Well, the folks on their board have been talking about how they are the number one team in the nation, should have been in the playoffs, and should be named the National Champs since they are undefeated. Now is their chance to prove it I guess. What is it they say? Be careful what you wish for? :)
He's a dual threat guy. There was talk on the Florida board about going after him for Mullen's offense, but then the news came out that he is restricted from transferring to any SEC team.
To my knowledge, only Divaad Wilson (4 star DB) has decommitted from Florida. He was very tight with our now former DC Randy Shannon. But your point about kids wanting to play for Frost is correct.
The argument is that they didn't really play anyone. And they have almost no defense. Their last two games sounded like basketball scores. 62-55 and 49-42.
