    Honaker (girls) lost to Marion by 11, Honaker was up by like 13 late in the 3rd and fell apart. Honaker beat Wythe by 24. The top 4 girls team in region D is probably Grundy, Honaker, Eastside and Rural Retreat. In no specific order.

    It’ll be hard to predict, it’ll all depend on which teams put the most work in and improves the most in the off season. Eastside, GW, PH and Honaker should be the top favorites. Wildcards: Thomas Walker And Grundy. I’m not sure if Region C has any other possible contenders????

    20-2 regular season for Honaker Girls

    Honaker is really young, they played Wise Central in a benefit game at UVA wise and lost by 2. They beat Ridgeview by 8. I think the potential is there.

    I’ll stick to just the west ranking: 2,3&4 are so close its hard to put a number on them. 1. PM no question 2. Galax 3. Honaker 4. PH 5. GW Has to beat PM to get out of Regions

    Ridgeview girls beats abingdon girls in triple OT Honaker

    On 11-26-18 Honaker played Central @UVaWise. Central won 45-43, I believe, I think Honaker Led most of the game and lost in the End. Ridgeview and wise Central will be a close game in my opinion.

    Class 1 girls state tournament pairings, regional results

    Region D 1A : 3 teams from each district. Play in game for Hogo#3 and BDD #3 Girls: Honaker, Patrick Henry and Eastside for the girls All have #1 seeds for being regular season champs. The other 6 spots will be determined from district tournaments.

    Honaker is awful young to be dubbed the biggest threat. Can they beat Eastside? I think it depends on which Eastside team shows up. I’ve seen Eastside look really good and then I’ve seen them look no so good. I think if Honaker can come out of the BDD as the 1 seed then they will have a better...
